“remember, the purpose of buying insurance it to protect you against catastrophic events that MAY occur in your life that you are able to financially cover yourself. You should no more buy pet insurance hoping your pet will get sick than you’d buy car insurance hoping you’ll have a wreck.”

“With insurance, you will EVENTUALLY realize the benefits of the policy” Just because you aren’t recieveing a benefit right now does mean you won’t eventually. Plus, once you do realize the benefit, it will have made itself worth it/paid for it/etc
