The American Kennel Club was founded in 1884 and since that time has been an advocate for our canine family members. In 2003, the AKC partnered with PetPartners, Inc. in order to offer pet insurance to AKC registrants through the AKC Pet Healthcare Plans. In 2004, they were selected by the Cat Fancier’s Association to provide pet insurance to their registrants. Today, they provide pet insurance to both individual pet owners and groups. Your pet does not need to be registered with the AKC or the CFA in order to receive coverage. AKC PetPartners is a member of the North American Pet Health Insurance Association.
